RE: Miazaki movies
Miyazaki is a really awesome director with awesome movies, not that there weren't other Studio Ghibli films with different directors that were just as awesome, there have been plenty of good ones (Whisper of the Heart being one of my favorite non-Miyazaki films). It's hard to choose a favorite.
Whenever I'm faced with a decision to choose one of his movies, I always go with Spirited Away. I think it's one of his best, next to Princess Mononoke when it comes to story, characters, animation, and over-all directing. There's something charming about watching a 10-or-so-year-old girl growing up in a world unlike her own. It's not really known how long she was there, but she was there long enough to make friends, gain the ability to work hard, and fall in love with Haku. Everything is perfect about it, and there's not a thing I can find wrong with it.

Spirited Away is my always chief choice. It's a movie that not only well animated, but has such a touching story. That's my weekend movie from all the Miazaki films.
Rockin' Symphony Of The Night since it came out!
