Every once and a while, there comes an man who is the man for their time. And in this case, I'm not talking about "The Dude." No I'm talking about Eric Ridenour, the writer, director, and producer of the fan film, Journey of the Spark.

Eric took the time to join us for BroNEcast this week, filling in for someone who just couldn't make it, and let me say this. Not only am I incredibly grateful that Eric was able to join us, I am honored and humbled that he chose to speak as passionately as he did on our program.

Eric spoke at length about what the fandom meant to him, and what his project means to him, and this is something that you will all have to see once it's released. However, it's going to be awhile before the project is complete. But let this be known... it will move you.

I am incredibly certain that Journey to the Spark will be something that helps define the brony movement. Eric was an absolute delight, and I can only hope that if you haven't noticed him yet, that you do now. Root this man on, because he is pouring his heart and soul in to this project.

Hopefully the episode will be up in a few days, but it was a long one, so it may take a little longer to edit. But until that time comes, we thank you for listening.

If you want to check out any of Eric's work, just youtube Journey of the Spark. Keep your eyes on this guy. He's something special.

I gotta say, Eric is a great guest. I loved his input on things, his story on how he became a brony, view on criticism and children movies and cartoons, and I completely agree with this guy and everything he said.

I hope he'll join in later podcasts too?

I also find it funny that your guy's comments that were said, were the same things I was thinking XD (i.e. cartoon resonance)

Aaand now that I've listened to that entire thing (felt like 5hrs, but at the same time I wanted it to be longer!)

I love Eric now, his dedication and points of views on things, and the entire conversation almost brought a tear to my eye, I really did get choked up.

If he needs help getting to Pon3con, I am almost willing to financially screw myself by driving all the way to him, and letting him sleep in my one bedroom house (I'd take the couch) for the duration of Pon3con.

I really really reeeeeaaaaaally wanna meet this guy in person, give him a big hug, a handshake, a medium hug, talk about his amazingness, a small hug, then finish it with a bigger hug.

Maybe a hug too, but I don't wanna be too gushing past breathing heavily and talking really fast about how awesome he is, then listening with attention that should be used for breathing... Yeah!

But seriously, I wish I had time to listen to each and every one of these podcasts... SO IT SHALL BE DONE.
